A Journey of reconnection and healing with our Benevolent Ancestors
Whether we are aware of it or not, our ancestors pass down both wisdom and wounding that reverberates through our own psychology, our relationships and even our DNA. While we carry the unhealed wounds and burdens of our ancestors, we also have a vast number of ancestors who lived well, died well, and are highly motivated to support us in healing ourselves, our past and living relatives and our communities.
In this 8-week program Prema will guide you in a safe and effective process to initiate and sustain relationship with wise and benevolent ancestors. With their guidance you can become aware of how unhealed wounds from your predecessors may be playing out in your life. You will engage the help of your vibrant and skilled ancestors to heal these patterns. This then allows you to open to the unique gifts and blessings that every lineage has to offer when it is fully healed.
Ancestral reconnection tends to make us better humans, more resourced and compassionate with each other as well as with our other-than-human kin. While the wisdom and support of our ancestors is a transformative resource for personal and family healing, it is also a catalyst for cultural change. With the backing of our wise and well ancestors, we increase our capacity to navigate cultural harms and reckon with outstanding debts. By healing these patterns on our own lineages, we are collaborating with our vibrantly well ancestors to address the harms that have their roots in the distant past, but which continue to exert divisive influences in the present.
Through guided journeying, discussion and individual guidance, this 8-week process will include
- How to create a safe ritual container from which to connect with your ancestors.
- Guidance on discerning between wise and well ancestors and not-fully-healed predecessors. Establishing healthy boundaries with the troubled dead.
- Creating ancestral altars as a safe and connective portal to relating with your ancestors
- Experiencing the potent support of initiating and sustaining relationship with a benevolent ancestor who can be a wisdom-keeper, a guide, a healer and a companion. This is who you will ask to begin healing whatever is needed for this lineage.
- Witnessing the healing for the souls on the lineage and the joy of their welcome into the beneficent ancestral field.
- Opening to the blessings and gifts of a fully healed lineage as they begin flowing into your daily life and often touching your loved ones too.
- One individual session with Prema to intuitively assess the relative wellness of your primary lineages and determine where to begin the journey. No prior genealogical information is needed.
In this journey of ancestral reconnection, the invitation is to experience a greater sense of belonging, integration, peace and compassion for self and others.
